Although the Greek community here at TU is fairly small-20% of students, we hold 80% of the leadership positions on campus. We are involved in virtually every organization on campus-including many honor societies, professional organizations, social clubs, and interest groups. The women of Tri Delta were involved in the following organizations:
Student Association, University Ambassadors, Mortar Board, Kappa Delta Pi, iTU, Relay for Life, TU Spirit Squad, TUSSHLA, Up 'Til Dawn, Presbyterian Leaders and Scholars, Student Health Advocates Association, Order of Omega, Beta Alpha Psi, ACSSA, TU Nursing Association, Scroll Honor Society, Lantern Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma, Omicron Delta Kappa, TEMSA, Student Economic Association, Iota Sigma Pi, National Student Advertising Club, Colleges Against Cancer, Rivendell, Emergency Infant Services Collegiate Board of Directors, STUMO, Business Law Society, Junior Panhellenic, Society of Petroleum Engineers, TU Unitarians, Environmental Sustainability Club, Deaf TU, TUSNA, RESLife, TU Treks, LINC Leaders, Asian American Student Association, ABC, and TU Theatre.
Our Greek community is very involved at TU and in the Tulsa community. We volunteer over 5,000 hours every year supporting the community and our philanthropies. Many Greeks are involved with Big Brothers, Big Sisters at Kendall Whittier Elementary. Every house has their own philanthropy they support, and our chapter places a huge emphasis on helping out St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Our All-Sorority and All-Greek GPA is always significantly higher than the undergraduate average. We provide support for our sisters and fellow Greeks in study parties, tutoring, and incentive programs. In spring 2009, the all sorority average was a 3.337 and the all-undergraduate average was 3.06.
