The ladies of the Theta Upsilon chapter of Tri Delta held their annual Pancake Breakfast on December 7, 2009. The event was $5 all you can eat buttermilk, blueberry, and chocolate chip pancakes. Raffle tickets were also sold bringing the total raised to $1804. All proceeds were sent directly to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
The Theta Upsilon chapter initiated 14 new members on Friday, October 23, 2009. The new initiates were:

The Theta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Delta Delta was named the winner of 2009-10 Greek Week last Friday, October 16. The week kicked off with the Greek Week Blood Drive and Kristin's Story on Monday. On Wednesday, there was a Greek Tailgate for the Boise State game. Thursday brought a co-sponsored event with Up 'Til Dawn writing letters, and the week commenced with the annual Greek Field Day. Tri Delta was announced as the winner after the field day games ended. Congratulations ladies!
Hillary Hellmann was named a Top 10 Freshmen for 2009-10. She was selected after an interview with faculty, staff, and alumni. She will be recognized during 2009 Homecoming festivities later this month.
Eleven Tri Delta's received 4.0s for the Spring 2009 semester. Freshmen Hannah Becker, Megan Bradford, Hillary Hellmann, Victoria Hui, and Allie Sargent; Sophomores Taylor Noland and Ashley Paladino; Juniors Paige Tryggestad and Stefanie Vollet; Seniors Kate Arnold, Emily Cooper, and Kate Swenson. Congratulations ladies on an outstanding semester!
Kelsey Leek and Paige Tryggestad received word on May 27 that they were named Jess Chouteau Outstanding Seniors. They were interviewed by a group of alumni in March and were selected as receipients from a record number of applications. They will be recognized during 2009 Homecoming festivities in October.
The Theta Upsilon chapter of Tri Delta was proud to accept many awards this spring. On April 15, 2009, we accepted the Point of Excellence Award from TU's administration and Office of Student Affairs at the Student Association Banquet. At the Panhellenic Banquet on April 27, 2009, we accepted the Jane Brechin Chapter Programming Award, Sisterhood Award, and Standards Cup Award. Recent alumna Amanda Aragon was named runner-up Greek Woman of the Year and Kelsey Leek was named a Leslie Rogers Scholar. We are very proud of our chapter and its recent accomplishments!
The Theta Upsilon chapter just received word that we have been recognized by Executive Office as a Two Star Chapter. To receive this honor, we have received a 95+% on our Accreditation Plan in accordance with Tri Delta’s Purpose and ideals. We are very, VERY excited to receive this honor!!
Theta Upsilon recently had two delegates attend Tri Delta National Convention in Chicago, IL over the Fourth of July weekend! Our Collegiate Chapter President, Amanda Aragon, and our VP Administration, Recruitment Staff, were proud to receive 3 awards at convention for this biennium! Our chapter received awards for Excellence in Scholarship, Excellence in Member Recruitment, and the prestigious TOP 5 Philanthropy Service Award recognizing top Tri Delta chapters for their outstanding contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!! We were also asked to present about our philanthropy program at Convention. Both delegates had a wonderful time meeting other Tri Deltas and getting important information to bring back to the chapter!
